THE GLASS PALACE
Named after the Palacio de Cristal in Madrid, The Glass Palace challenged me to create a fully actualized and renderable environment. Drawing inspiration from abandoned greenhouses, I focused on adding elements of decay such as: rusting copper for the exterior of the building, dying weeds and decomposing plants hanging from the trellises. I wanted to juxtapose the space with futuristic experiments to give an element of dystopia.
